Some of our readers had noticed significant decrease in battery life after upgrading to iOS 4.3.
Users are reporting that the issue is fixed after disabling Ping, Apple’s social network for music. So if you’ve noticed decrease in battery life after upgrading to iOS 4.3 then you can try to disable Ping to see if it helps.

You can disable Ping by following these simple steps:
-Launch the Settings app.
-Tap General, then Restrictions.
-Tap Enable Restrictions.
-Enter the passcode, which is required to enable restrictions (and to access it later).
Please make sure it's something you can remember. 
-Toggle Ping to Off.
You can try this out if you’ve noticed a similar issue on your iPad and iPod Touch after upgrading to iOS 4.3.
